Is car insurance provided for the hire

Yes, Solten Uganda values its products and services we offer to our valued customers. To retain Solten Point’s brand name, the products we offer and for hassle free offerings , we meet auto standards for all our vehicles.

What is the minimum tenure for Solten Uganda?

Our long-term hire programmes start from a minimum of 1 month, with most clients opting for 6–12 months terms. We tailor the tenure to your actual need — whether it's a project deployment, an expat assignment, or an ongoing corporate fleet requirement.

Is a chauffeur included with the hired vehicle?

We only offer chauffeured rentals for all long-term car hire. Our chauffeurs are hospitality-trained, English-speaking, background-verified. For embassy and individuaI clients, dedicated drivers are assigned for the full tenure.

Who handles maintenance, breakdowns and servicing?

Solten Uganda handles everything. Scheduled servicing, repairs, roadside assistance, breakdown support, tyre and battery replacement, and routine maintenance are all included in the lease — you never deal with a workshop or service bill.

Can I extend or end my long-term car hire early?

Yes. Lease extensions are handled through a simple addendum — most clients extend at least once. If you need to end the lease early due to a project change, transfer, or end of assignment, we work with you to find a mutually fair exit, including swapping to a shorter-term hire structure if needed.
